“‘BUT I WILL RESTORE YOU TO HEALTH & HEAL YOUR WOUNDS’, declares the lord, ‘because you are called an outcast, zion for whom no one cares.”

Jeremiah 30:17

What is the

ouya medical Clinic Project?

Health in Kenya is a pressing concern, with the current healthcare system facing significant challenges. Many areas lack proper health facilities and essential supplies, including medicines. The healthcare structure in Kenya struggles to meet the growing demand for health services. The Kenya healthcare system has a low doctor-to-patient ratio (1 doctor: 5,263 patients), making access to quality care difficult. Starting a faith-based clinic in Migwena, Bondo County, Kenya, will serve both Migwena and Ouya village while offering a sustainable business opportunity in the health sector in Kenya.

Why start another clinic?

Villagers have to walk long distances to search for proper medical treatment. Once they reach the facility, they might not be able to find a medical officer to attend to them. Even if they do, they might not get the medicine they need. Thus, they have to walk farther to find a drugstore or just go home untreated. Older people often don’t seek treatment out of uncertainty. Additionally, due to ignorance and lack of nearby health facilities, many mothers and children are lost in childbirth.

With this clinic, we can change that.

our mission

Our goal is to provide excellent, patient-centered treatment with love and compassion by delivering high-quality medical care, promoting spiritual growth, and engaging in community outreach and health education to prevent disease.

A healthcare setting with women and children seated at a table, engaging with healthcare workers. There are windows with blue frames, a brick wall, and chairs along the wall.
A woman sits at a desk with a medical professional, talking. A female patient sits across from the woman, and a young girl stands nearby observing. The room has posters on the wall, a shelf with supplies, and a window.

our Vision

Our vision is to be a leader in saving the lives of women, children, and men of all walks of life through high-quality, comprehensive, and sustainable health care, seeking to empower humanity in Kenya and to achieve optimal health, both physically and spiritually, leading to healed communities.

What we offer

The new clinic will serve the villagers, students, teachers, and other workers in the elementary schools and the nearby technical college. Patients will have reliable healthcare, where they can expect to be treated with dignity and compassion. Prenatal and child healthcare will also be available, helping prevent the loss of mother or child during childbirth.

Additionally, the clinic will provide services including, but not limited to:

  • Care for common illnesses, such as malaria and typhoid fever

  • Minor surgical procedures

  • Basic laboratory services

  • Emergency services
